Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team! The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential or commercial settings. Electrical knowledge, attention to detail, communication and a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of this role!
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Pull, route, and secure electrical wires/cables through studs, joists, and conduits
- Bend, cut, and install EMT (electrical metallic tubing) or rigid conduit
- Mount electrical boxes, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, and circuit breakers
- Terminate wires and connect transformers, panel boards, and control panels under supervision
- Use multimeters, megohmmeters, and circuit testers to assist in troubleshooting and verifying dead circuits
- Set up work sites, carry materials, and keep working zones clean and hazard-free
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Follow safety procedures and protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures
- Collaborate with contractors and other professionals on job sites
- Complete service records accurately and on time
Requirements
- Apprentice or Red Seal Electrician license
- Minimum 3 years experience in the Electrical industry
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract
- Safety certifications are an asset (First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, etc)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
