WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are currently in need of a Rock Truck Operator who has  a 1C-2A Massachusetts hoisting license with experience operating heavy equipment particularly excavators and experience working in a production plant environment / manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment to load the processing system on site.

This role will be reporting to and working closely with the lead operator. You need to be proficient in the operation of an excavator and a  rock truck as well as other mobile equipment including fork truck, skid steer type loader, person lift and pickup truck. You will also perform preventive maintenance, repairs and maintain a clean and safe environment. You will prepare and maintain logs, checklists and schedules as well as read, understand and apply information, such as lockout/tagout procedures, safety and environmental rules, job hazard analyses, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
